I dragged my first wall off to the side, so I could use the flat deck to build the next wall. Cutting the wall studs and 45 degree taper on the top plate went easier today.
I built the second wall with the 45 degree top plate bevel down on the deck. This made aligning the wall studs and top plate easier, but nailing the top plate was more difficult because the nails were hard to reach with the hammer. After I got 1 nail in each stud, I slid the wall over the edge of the platform so I had better access with the hammer. I don't know which way I like better to construct the walls. Each has advantages and disadvantages.
Tomorrow I build the back wall.
